Throughout 2008 there have been 220 transport operations, with a total volume of low and intermediate level radioactive wastes amounting to 1,246.5 m3.

Samples of the water, air, soil, foodstuffs, fish, game and plant life are taken annually to monitor environmental radioactivity levels and keep the Nuclear Safety Council informed.
In 2008 numerous control points were set up and a total 800 samples were collected.
