Ion smoke detectors

As the company in charge of managing radioactive wastes, Enresa’s mission in this area consists of removing the small radioactive sources contained in ion smoke detectors following their separation from the rest of the components in specific treatment facilities, regulated by Royal Decree 208/2005 on electrical and electronic apparatus and the management of their wastes.
