The El Cabril centralised disposal facility possesses the resources and capabilities required to manage all the low and intermediate level radioactive wastes generated in Spain, including those arising from the dismantling of nuclear power plants.
The 6th General Radioactive Waste Plan was approved by the Government in 2006. This plan sets out the activities to be performed by Enresa in the coming years, among which the following are particularly significant:
Enresa is a public company set up by Parliament in 1984 for the management of radioactive wastes and the dismantling of nuclear power plants.
Enresa announces calls for the courses, conferences and other events that it organises or in which it participates.

Enresa periodically publishes two magazines: Estratos and Sierra Albarrana.
Estratos
Quarterly magazine including articles on activities and projects related to radioactive wastes, as well as reports on environmental, social and cultural matters.
With a distribution of 5,000 copies, the magazine is sent to institutions and private individuals throughout the country.

Two-monthly publication including updated news on the El Cabril centralised disposal facility and cultural, environmental and scientific reports focussing on Andalusia and more especially on the city of Córdoba and its province.
6,000 copies are distributed among private individuals and institutions.
