The 6th General Radioactive Waste Plan was approved by the Government in 2006. This plan sets out the activities to be performed by Enresa in the coming years, among which the following are particularly significant:

  • The creation of a Centralised Temporary Storage facility for spent fuel and high level wastes.
  • The dismantling of all disused nuclear power plants.

Enresa periodically publishes two magazines: Estratos and Sierra Albarrana.

Estratos

Quarterly magazine including articles on activities and projects related to radioactive wastes, as well as reports on environmental, social and cultural matters.

With a distribution of 5,000 copies, the magazine is sent to institutions and private individuals throughout the country.
