The Enresa Environments are centres where we provide you with an insight into the company’s missions from an informative point of view and accompanied by specialist personnel.
The Enresa Environments are designed for the public in general but with special emphasis on students, at whom they are aimed in a scientific but accessible manner.
There are currently three Enresa Environments, at the following locations:
Our Enresa Environment in Madrid was set up with a view to providing information on Enresa's activities and disseminating an understanding of the management of radioactive wastes in Spain.
In addition, the centre offers other contents that address issues such as radioactivity, its origins and applications and the solutions adopted in this field by other countries in our environment. The contents are exhibited by way of interactive programmes, mock-ups and audiovisual presentations designed to attract the participation of the visitor.
The visits, which are oriented towards both students and the general public, are scheduled and free of charge. To visit this Environment it is essential to make a reservation beforehand via the web or by telephone.

Our Enresa Environment at the El Cabril waste disposal facility was created in 1993 with two main objectives in mind: to provide information on Enresa’s activities and an insight into the low and intermediate level and very low level radioactive waste projects under way in Spain.
The visit to the Enresa Environment at El Cabril includes a presentation and a walk through the exhibition area, where Enresa’s activities are explained through mock-ups and interactive programmes, along with a guided visit to the disposal facilities themselves. The visit lasts four hours and is designed for all types of groups, with special emphasis on secondary school, vocational training and university students. The visits are free and it is essential to make a reservation beforehand via the web or by telephone.

Our Enresa Environment at Vandellós was created with the aim of providing information on Enresa’s activities and, most especially, on the dismantling of nuclear and radioactive facilities and management of the wastes that such projects generate.
The visit to this Centre includes an exhibition with information on waste management activities, practical workshops for schoolchildren, interactive programmes showing the visitor the technologies applied in waste management and a guided visit to the installations that once were the Vandellós I nuclear power plant and are now in the dormancy phase.
The three-hour scheduled visits are oriented towards the public in general, and students in particular, and are free of charge. It is essential to make a reservation beforehand via the web or by telephone.
