Enresa Department of the Environment – University of Córdoba
Since its beginnings in 1996, this chair has consolidated itself as a research group and a platform for work in the environmental field.
The chair is involved in international cooperation, especially in Latin America.
The Enresa Department of the Environment - UCO works on the following:
- Analysis and diagnosis regarding the feasibility of new projects, plans and programmes relating to the environment in the social and territorial contexts.
- Proposals regarding technical-environmental and socio-environmental solutions for decision-making in situations of conflict.
- Planning, development and application of participative management methodologies and socially democratic strategies for decision-making in local sustainable development plans.
- Studies on the environmental and social impact of activities, projects and installations of public and private interest.
- Courses on environmental training complementary to the university curriculum.
- Organisation of and participation in seminars, working sessions, debates, congresses and other events on technical-environmental and socio-environmental issues.
