Enresa, is a company that serves society, and it recognizes that its role extends for simply meeting beyond legal requirements. One of its main commitments is the sustainable and responsible management of its activities. Accordingly, sustainability has become a strategic pillar of the company, a tool to ensure a positive impact both by the company itself, and by all its stakeholders and society as a whole.
Over recent years, Enresa has made a great effort to integrate a social responsibility strategy as a vehicle to bring sustainability to the forefront in its business management, and ensure it is present in all its areas of action. A good example of this is its Corporate Social Responsibility Policy (Spanish version), which structures the commitments taken on in social and environmental areas and on good governance.
To drive its culture of social responsibility, Enresa has a Social Responsibility and Sustainability Committee, also responsible for coordinating and monitoring all activities in this matter.
Strategic Pillars
In order to materialise its strategy, Enresa periodically defines its Sustainability Master Plan, with the latest edition covering the period 2023-2026. This roadmap focuses on four main pillars (governance, the environment, social contribution and people) and another cross-cutting pillar aimed at integrating sustainability across the entire company and advancing its corporate efforts in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals, in line with the commitments made by Spain and the European Union, and reinforce the communication and reporting of non-financial information.
In this regard and true to its commitment to transparency, Enresa has published its Non-financial Information Statement since 2024. The latest version can be accessed here:
